Wow, I came in here to ask the exact same question!
In my little bit of online research, I found this clinic, supposed to be an hour away from my place - Questionable Link Removed - I've read the articles you posted about how to choose a surgeon, and I think I'll go forward with them and get a liposuction done next month.
A friend of mine went to them for acne issues and she says nothing but good things, although I do understand that liposuction is completely different. In either case, what would you suggest? I'm just fed up of trying to lose weight naturally, this seems to be the only way out.
This should not be construed as medical advice. I am a retired Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.
If you have actually read any of our topics about How to Pick Your Plastic Surgeon
, you will how critical it is to see the quality of a surgeon's work before risking your body! Why do you put a link to a site that I could not find a single before and after picture? When a practice includes several doctors, the individual surgeon you are using needs to be carefully evaluated. For instance, why would anyone trust a doctor trained in Ears Nose and Throat to perform liposuction on other parts of the body? The skills of the actual surgeon performing the surgery are what counts, not what the general results of the practice may be if there were photos.
If you have read this post, Liposuction is NOT an option for Weight Loss
. Where have you found proof otherwise? Let us examine such "proof" carefully. If you link to before and after liposuction pictures and documentation about how it can help with weight loss, that would be of interest.
My guess is that you are a SEO spammer and your link was removed. If you are not a link spammer, be careful of anyone claiming that liposuction will help with weight loss until you can see verifiable proof. That would be with the above mentioned Standard Pictures, weight, BMI, and Body Fat Analysis before and after surgery. Seeing such details over time would be good. Proof would also need to include how the skin adjusted. Loose skin is a major factor After Weight Loss
. Documentation should be along the lines of the body part involved such as seen in Standard Pictures for Tummy Tuck
which uses gravity and grabbing the extra tissue to show how the loose skin was managed.
Hope this helps,
