: Liposuction Forum - Mons Pubis Options and Cost
: DrBermant March 12, 2011, 02:00:51 AM
Dr Bermant is liposuction of the mons pubis a common procedure and is it expensive? Even at my thinnest I've had this trouble area. Genetic

When the problem is localized fat, then liposuction is an option for the mons pubis region. However, if the problem is one of drooping loose skin, then some form of skin tightening operation like a Tummy Tuck (http://www.plasticsurgery4u.com/procedure_folder/abdominoplasty/index.html) will be needed for contouring.

Genetic issues can be localized fat or the contour if the deeper structures like bone. Contour issues after weight loss or pregnancy tend to have a skin component.

Liposuction Cost (http://www.plasticsurgery4u.com/faq/faq_tumescent_cost.html) can vary depending on what needs to be done. Jane is my office manager and can better discuss typical prices and fees.  She can normally be reached at our office by phone Monday - Friday 9-5 Eastern Time at (804) 748-7737.

Hope this helps,

Yes, they are because of nerve supply issues to the genitalia.

I've also learned that the size of the mons pubis varies with the level of hormone and body fat. In human females, this mound is made of fat and is supposed to be larger which means more risky?

This is a nonsense post by a SEO spammer who has no idea about the topic. Reader beware. Liposuction is still not the answer to global body fat nor the solution to the sagging larger mons after major weight loss that has distortion from loose skin and stretched supporting structures.
